In 2007.06.05 during the World Environment Day the winners of the traditional business companies’ competition “Environmental Achievements” were awarded. 

After SC "Klaipėdos kartonas" shareholder's meeting held on 26th of April, anual report of year 2006 was approved and investment program amounted of LTL 15 mln for production modernisation confirmed.

On April 26, during the meeting of shareholders’ of investment company "Avestis", which manages the JSC "Klaipėdos kartonas”, the results of the company’s activity of the year 2006 were confirmed. This year, the company plans to invest about 15 million Lt. in the production modernization.

The turnover of the investment company “Avestis” which manages the JSC “Klaipėdos kartonas”  increased twice than it was planned and reached the turnover of the 95 million Lt during the last year. This is 13,2 per cent more than in 2005, when the turnover was reaching 84 million Lt.

UAB Avesko, the subsidiary of the investment company Avestis, has increased its ownership in the largest in the Baltic countries recycled containerboard paper producer AB Klaipėdos kartonas from 69,56 to 95,6%.
